The School Greets New Students for the Academic Year 2023

The School of Political Science and Public Administration hosted a pleasant activity to welcome freshmen on Saturday, June 3, 2023. It was a continual activity throughout the day.

As the opening ceremony for the morning festivities, a magnificent choir of seniors performed university songs. Then, Assistant Professor Nantida Jansiri, Acting Vice Dean for Students and Student Development, provided welcoming speech and sermons to new students on study and university life.

Following that, Assistant Professor Surat Komphot welcomed the students and presented the staff members of the Political Science Program, and Associate Professor Dr. Kittachet Krivart led the staff members of the Public Administration Program to meet and welcome students.

Afternoon activities offered separate spaces for each program’s students to meet closely with lecturers from their respective programs. In addition to learning about their chosen programs, acknowledging teaching and learning management guidelines, and listening to fundamental study instructions, students met individually with their advisors. They were introducing themselves, getting to know one another, and exchanging contact information. Throughout the day, activities were cordial and lively.

Ultimately, today’s events were both welcoming and formally bringing students to the School. It was the beginning of the School’s mission to offer education and caring for students during their studies at Walailak University.
