In line to Walailak University’s research strategy, the School of Political Science and Laws is constantly focusing on driving research missions and facilitating faculty staffs’ research to be widely published, notably in major academic publications in the Scopus database. To accomplish this goal, the Head and committee members of the School’s Research Center recognized the importance of accurate information about relevant academic journals, which could prevent publication errors such as publishing a research paper in an unacceptable journal or not receiving academic results as expected, and so on.

The School of Political Science and Laws has eventually planned to host an academic event to share and exchange knowledge regarding the publishing of research articles. The scheduled event will honorably include Associate Professor Dr. Thanongsak Imjai, Acting Director of Walailak University’s Institute of Research and Innovation, as a speaker and moderator of a roundtable discussion on the aforementioned issues.

The School of Political Science and Laws anticipates that this event will result in the development of systematic mechanisms that will enable School members to publish their academic research in major academic journals. It is also expected that the participants would be able to effectively share information about academic journals and publishers in their respective fields.
