The world today is changing rapidly and increasingly even more complex, students of political science and laws, therefore, must be educated to become new generations of students who can adapt to the changing world. The School of Political Science and Laws is regarded as a recently established school within Walailak University, with our vision of “Strengthening and developing the school with integrity, keeping pace with changes, and reputable among the academic community.”

Concerning the development and strengthening of integrity, the School will focus on the organization’s operation through seeking and developing quality academic staff. In addition to increasing the number of highly qualified professors and creating respectable works, the School will be different from other universities in terms of practicality as we have an 8-month cooperative education. Furthermore, the School also recruits experienced and recognized people, including former provincial governor, former vice-governor, and former chargé d’affaires to work as regular lecturers, and invites judges of the Supreme Court, the Provincial Court, and the Administrative Court and state attorney, as well as faculty members from prestigious universities to teach in full-time subjects. These ensure that the students will be able to comprehend the world of practice.

Throughout their studies at the School of Political Science and Laws, students might improve their English language abilities by learning from certified Thai lecturers and native-speaking instructors. Understanding language, particularly English, will enable students to explore knowledge from throughout the world. Furthermore, Walailak University’s Active Learning methods, which are based on UK Professional Standards Framework, will encourage students and teachers to participate in collaborative learning activities. It will undoubtedly inspire students to seek further knowledge on their own in order to become high-quality graduates who are knowledgeable in both theory and practice, as well as a significant future resource for the country.
