Ploypailin Tinkhaotor, a 4th year International Relations student in the Political Science Program, wrote an article titled “Two Worlds, Who Wants?” which was published in Matichon Daily. Ploypailin discussed the problem of quarrels, breakups, divorces, and even rising violence between spouses in today’s society in this article. Men, she said, use the term “two worlds” to hide their infidelity toward women. In all instances, that type of behavior is unacceptable.

This article proposes a solution to the problem of abused women by pointing out that in today’s culture, divorcing is not a shameful thing to do. It does not imply that a marriage has failed. Women should be brave enough to begin a new life. Ploypailin argued that every woman has her own power, and that neither knowledge nor skill are inherently inferior to males.
